Supertunia Mini Vista® Pink Cloud™ Petunia

Now for something different....

Now, I realize this is a Mini-Vista, and won't get as large as a regular Vista, but I was entirely unprepared for what I unpacked. A softball sized plant, completely enveloped in flowers not much bigger than my thumbnail. The flowers were a sweet baby pink, and completely hid the foliage. I stared, trying to wrap my head around this plant. I bought it for landscape use, and maybe it would be appropriate for that in a fairy garden, but I couldn't see this surviving in a rough and tumble garden. I tucked it into a spot where it would not have to compete with anything else, and it's gone on it's merry way. It's still the size of a softball after almost a month in the garden, but has not stopped pumping out flowers the whole time. I really think this would be best in a small pot with other small plants that would be in scale with it. It is very cute, but not exactly what I wanted.

Beautiful soft pink flower looking perfect in hanging baskets just sparkle in the sun.
