THE Perfect Starter Keyboard
I am currently owning the Epomaker TH108 with the silent Sea Salt switches for two months now. I am very happy to say that i am with my first true mechanical keyboard. I am very pleased with the sound and happy that it was aviable with the iso-german layout. Tbh i wished buying the TH108 pro but it was not aviable in german. I like the board dont get me wrong and i will keep it as long as i can, but i have some minor problems. The RGB stripes on the side of the board are NOT customizable. i am using a static light blue color but the sides have fixed presets. A bit odd but okay... One keys has probably poorly lubed stabilisers because i can hear a high pitches metallic sound unusual in comparison to similar key (for your information, for me it is the the key 0 on the numbpad) but again no big deal but i use the numbpad often and i hear it. Again i am nitpicking, i know. I would have loved to give 4,5 starts but i can only give 4 or 5. But personally for 80€ this is the best thing after my hyperx alloy fps RGB. It has a fantastic build, very neat, very thoughtful and i would recommend anyone this board if they have a tight budget. Be aware the keys are not shine throught and i have trouble seeing the key when its dark because light blue on white has a poor contrast. And south facing shinethrough keycaps in iso-german are impossible to find :D

A great budget keeb
Everything I am about to say is done so in the context of me owning a TH96 Pro before this board. The shipping was really well done, and the packaging was super safe. The keeb's visual looks super nice too. The back plate gives it a cute little aesthetic. The keycaps are also super nice. The RGB on the board looks nice and is well adjustable. The first issue arises here: the side RGB, while looking very nice, bleeds into the RGB of the keys, which is fine as long as it is the same colour, but becomes very noticeable if it is a different one. Making its addition seem like something that isn't very thought out. The other big downside is that the board flexes a lot. Even with mild pressure, it indents noticeably. That is something that I couldn't even get my TH96 to do with high pressure. While I understand the price difference, the weight difference and how flimsy the TH108 is are just hard for me to adapt to. Nevertheless, the board is a great board for what it is, price-wise. And I would recommend it.
