Best clean nail look EVER
I was on the fence about this one for a while, the tone looked a little warm for me (cool/neutral olive), BUT, it's so sheer you don't feel overpowered by the pink at all. I'm so happy I bit the bullet on this one though and tried it, because it's absolutely gorgeous. If you love the Illuminating nail concealer, but wanted something without the slight glitter factor, this is it. It's absolutely "your nails but better." It does have some downsides though. I do not get a week's wear out of this one. I currently use the Lux length base coat, have tried it over the Ridge Filler, the Gel Genius base coat, and even over the Illuminating nail concealers, all with the Gel Genius top coat. No combo so far has gotten me more than 4 days wear time without a nail partially peeling, and I am meticulous about my prep. I'm looking forward to trying the Grip Lock base coat with it, as it's just too lovely a look to give up on. It applies without a streak, no unevenness at all, not an easy cuticle flooder as some sheers are, and dries down relatively quickly (I give 3-4 minutes between coats). It is hard NOT to have this one look like you just stepped out of the salon. It is somewhat "soft" as it sets, unlike many Londontown cream polishes. It requires several hours of you being ginger with your hands before it's fully "non-nickable" by daily action. But, again, it's absolutely gorgeous, and worth going through all the steps if you're want an absolutely classy, minimalist, Parisian chic, or just the everyday "I may have toddlers, but I can win at something!" look. I'll keep buying this even if I don't crack the code for longer than 4 days perfect wear time, it's that beautiful and classy.
