Bill Davidson: Landscape Painting Secrets

I enjoyed Bill Davidson's Landscape Painting video. I found his stroke by stroke explanations coupled with the visuals of his demo to be very informative and watchable. His style and methods are comparable to my own, so it was quite easy to adopt nuances of his techniques into my own work for immediate benefit. I like his idea of doing a tonal study prior to the painting to work out composition and value patterns, and his pre-mixing of colours on his palette, both of which I do in my paintings, although not quite to the extent that Bill does in his video. It was also nice that I had a chance to meet Bill in person and paint alongside him at FCW in California last fall.

How to bring together both color and balance in your painting

Bill does exactly what the above title says. He does it in a well paced way that encouraged me to view my painting in ways I had not previously considered. From my perspective this video is a 5 STAR for those who want to grow and learn new concepts.
