I love the Jerry McNeal series! Each book has several interwoven threads to the plot lines. The characters are so complimentary to each other. The love and commitment Jerry shares with his family is so heartwarming. HOWEVER… a few things that bother me is non consistency in the story lines of the characters from book to book. As well as the loss of integral characters throughout the book themes, such as Doc dropping out, and Seltzer’s roll being faded out. This series is very good, but it could be improved somewhat, by better proofreading or maybe editing. I’m eager for Book 21 to come out, but wish the audiobooks were released at the same time as the paperback and e-book.
