Large Juice Groove Jig

I ordered the large jig because most of the cutting boards I make are large, but the first thing I noticed about the large jig is that it was versatile enough to fit smaller size boards, as well. The jig is ridgid such that no deflection was noticed during routing on the boards, resulting in straight grooves. The clamping system is easy to use and stays tight to the board during routing.

The phenolic slats are too thin.

The slats need to be thicker. They flex during use making this jig useless. I used them as templates and cut new slats out acrylic that were much stiffer.

The juice grove jig I ordered from Woodhaven is an excellent product. It is easy to assemble, sturdy, and efficient to use. Thanks for a great product at a great price!
