Wow! Now this is a harp!
I recently purchased a Low E Bold body 1847 and was blown away by this harp. The first thing I noticed was the weight which is substantially more than my "old" Hohner E Marine Band. It's a wider harp and felt a lot heavier than the Horner.
When it touched my lips there was a big difference from the Session Steel low C & D and the Kongsheng Bluebird F which was pretty substantial. The sound was so rich and I didn't want to put it down. It felt like I was playing a well-tuned chromatic and I look forward to playing it with a band. I only wish it was a Low C or Low F (cross-harp for G or C) so I could play it for more songs. Maybe the next one will be a Low G Bold Body, as that would be useful for a D, but for now I'm really happy with using my Low Body E.
