I don’t think you can call that a cup holder.

We bought two portal camp chairs years ago and LOVE, LOvE, LOVED them. Unfortunately, they are now falling apart . They don’t make the chairs we loved anymore so I ordered these as they were the closest in style. The chair is smaller but comfortable enough. But the cup holder is useless. In the era of Yeti, Stanley, Owala you would think they’d have cup holders that can hold more than a can. I’ll keep them but the hunt for a replacement will continue.
