Sweet Compendium of Pups

This is the sweetest book! It's much thicker than I was anticipating (and all of the illustrations are so absolutely whimsical and cute. The effort that went into this book is impossible to deny. On a more serious note, It's a very thorough and easy reference for all the dogs breeds which I'll be able to utilize in my work for my local humane society. I'll be returning to buy a few more copies for my humane society colleagues as well. I know they'll love it. Very happy with this purchase and this sweet little shop!

I love everything about this book !

I just received my copy and love it! The ordering process was easy and the delivery was quick . I absolutely love the information on the dogs around the world and the artwork!

Disappointed:(

I ordered a copy of the book to give as a gift to the breeder of my dogs, and had it personally signed by the author. I assumed (incorrectly) that the breeds would be drawn by the artist but also have each breed's history described. I was very disappointed that the entire book was only artistic renderings of each breed, with a very short description attached. I was expecting much much more information about each breed, such as where the breed originated, other breeds to which it was related, changes in the breed through the years, etc. This type of info was provided on only a few breeds. I have decided not to gift this book to my breeder friend because it did not meet my expectations.
