It is really too early to tell because I just installed it a week ago, but the water seems to taste much better and even filters quicker than my other filter even without the tube.

Finally drinking more water

I knew our water wasn't great. But I didn't realize how bad it was until we got this filtering system. It's crisp and clean now and doesn't have any of the weird taste it previously did. It's even made my morning coffee taste better, which I didn't think we possible. I will absolutely continue to use this product and recommend it to anyone that will listen!
