Very Robust!
After getting over the fact that there are no printed instructions (but very well labeled hardware bags) I finally got to install my new awning. I must say that this is the most robust awning and hardware I've seen. Very impressed. Looking forward to taking it on the road camping and putting it to its paces.

Review of Taruca Awnings from a Manufacturer's Perspective
As a manufacturer producing around 286 trailers annually, we understand that a camper and its awning should pair seamlessly—like fine food and wine. Over the years, we've tested more than 10 different awning brands. While many offer generous dealer discounts and impressive features up front, we've consistently run into the same issue: initial quality followed by recurring product hiccups. Unfortunately, when problems arise, getting warranty support often feels nearly impossible, leaving us to troubleshoot and resolve the issues ourselves for our customers. Since transitioning to Taruca and installing 26 of their awnings, we've had nothing but excellent experiences. That reliability starts with the superior quality of the product. While there are cheaper awnings on the market, with Taruca, you truly get what you pay for. Their built-in LED lighting system is a standout—not just a 12-inch bar like the one featured in the OVS XD awning—but a full LED setup on each pole. The integrated rain puddle guard effectively prevents water buildup, and the robust "Apache helicopter" aluminum arms provide strength and stability in strong winds. The awning also delivers true 270-degree coverage, offering full accessibility around the camper—unlike other brands that make similar claims but fall short. We will continue using Taruca because of their consistent quality control, responsive customer service, and a leadership team—especially Daniel—that listens to feedback and actively works to improve the product. That kind of partnership is rare in this industry.
