Trixie (rescue lurcher) is more comfortable in her Martingale collar as well as safer when out walking: the leather greyhound collar chafed her neck and, as a nervous rescue dog, she has "escaped" from an ordinary dog collar and a harness in the past.

Beautiful collar

I was looking for a collar for my whippet to wear around the house and yard when she was not out on a walk with her harness on. This collar fits the criteria and looks very smart. My only reservation is that the metal fittings do make it rather heavy for a dainty whippet, which of course is unavoidable bearing in mind the action of a martingale type collar. My fault, perhaps I should have gone for a house collar? But I do like the ease of putting on and taking off the martingale. Thank you
