Great fit. Could be a bit darker

Ordering and shipping were straightforward. Installation was super simple. I like that the visor fits snugly. It rests on the clip allowing a little airflow and then on the freeway I push down to clip it down fully. I do wish it got a bit darker for the SoCal sun. Overall a great product.

Does (not) fit Pinlock - (updated)

Update 12/08/24 I haven’t been able to ride for a few weeks and wanted to update after testing out on the road.. So after getting the replacement visor (great customer service and sent me a replacement visor and fog sheild) I’m pleased to say that this visor does fit a Pinlock when I tested the one that came with my Shoei - so that major issue is resolved and was due to a tolerance error from manufacturing. However the anti fog shield that is from another brand doesn’t fit but that’s a separate review coming soon. When I first tested inside in front of a window and saw the light tint I was worried that it wouldn’t tint dark enough but when outside (full UV) it goes to a dark smoke and happens smoothly and quickly (see photo). I think the only thing I could say as a negative would be that this visor doesn’t have the same SNAP when closing like the OEM, still seems to close fine and secure just not a click. Glad to have this visor for my commute when it’s sunny in the morning/afternoon but night when I leave the office. Saves the hassle of dealing with spare visor or needing sunglasses etc. Original review: One of the reasons I bought the Glamster was so that I’d be able to buy this transition visor (which for some reason Shoei doesn’t sell for this helmet) and fit a Pinlock to it. I was able to put one on the stock visor that came with it no problem. Not the case here - Pinlock doesn’t fit - even the one sold on this website which I bought doesn’t work. After some struggle I decided to take a closer look. The tabs for the pinlock are slightly closer than the Shoei… now what?! This is basically useless to me. Wasn’t expecting this to be a problem, massively disappointed. I was looking forward to an all in one solution for cold overcast mornings to afternoon sun… Photo on the left is the transition visor from dragon - doesn’t look like much but each pin in 1-2mm closer to the center which makes it a DIY craft project of trying to cut the slot for the Pinlock to fit.
