Pajarito Premium Despalada 500 g (1.1 lbs)

Not sure if it's me or the Mate

I'm something of a novice Mate drinker, and I've mostly only drank the Argentinian brands like Playadito and Rosamonte, so I'm not sure if it's me or if something was wrong with this one. There is, what taste to me, a flavor that is almost like a cleaning detergent. It's a chemically kind of flavor, almost like menthol, but really the first thought was "this taste and smells like some kind of cleaning solution." I'm a little worried I got a bad bag. I also ordered the Organic bag of Pajarito, and that tastes absolutely fantastic to me. Taste like normal Yerba mate, none of the chemical, medicinal flavor I get in this one. Again, not sure if that's normal, or if I got a bad bag. I'm curious if anyone else has had these kind of flavors in this product?
