Egyptian Cotton-European Linen Sheet Set

In love with these sheets!!!

I splurged on these sheets after way too much analysis and research on whether I wanted Egyptian cotton or European linen. Then I found this combination! I've had them for a month and they've been on my bed since I got them. I've washed them 3 times and they just keep getting softer. It sounds like a contradiction, but while these are a slight bit scratchy, not smooth and silky, they are also the softest sheets I've ever slept on! They are also really light and airy, I wish I'd had them for the heat of summer. Good airflow and really lightweight. I think they might not be warm enough for a New England winter, but I'll try anyway! The fitted sheet is on a 16" mattress and there is room to spare. There is an elastic on the corners to keep them snugly on the bed, but I don't need it even with a tall mattress. The flat sheet is huge, plenty hangs over each side so you're never short-sheeted. The pillow cases comfortably fit on standard sized pillows. I am truly in love with these sheets and feel they are worth the price. They did however send me a swatch of their Egyptian cotton silkeen fabric, and now I'm saving up for a set of those!!
