Grate product could use more cable clips slightly bigger or make the cables easier to attach handles to whold like a leg press attach ment for the smith bar

Great machine at a great price
I did a lot of research for a smith machine/functional trainer to put in my home gym. The SM12 2.0 won due to the 1:1 cable ratio. Machine is sturdy and works smoothly. Would be nice to have a place to hang attachments like the dip bars or squat safety arms on the machine out of the way while using the cables but not a big deal to just set them off to the side on the floor. Since I was installing over carpet I build a platform with 3/4 inch plywood and 3/4 inch mats for extra stability. I was concerned about there being no bolt down points, but customer service confirmed it was designed to be used without bolting down. I did not install the weight holder so I could get it closer to the wall. If one was inclined the holes meant for the weight dividers could be used to bolt the rear of the machine down, but it hasn't tried to slip or tip on me yet. Assembly was easy, about 3 hours though the cables were mislabeled forcing me to undo the cable system and redo it, which was easy enough to do. For the sale price of 999.99 it ticks all the boxes and will see a good amount of use as it saves the 30 minute drive to the gym.

Very solid piece of equipment
I was looking to get rid of a few machines I had in my home gym and pickup something that would allow me to do the same exercises while taking up less space. I am so happy that I purchased this rack and it has become the powerhouse of my workouts. I have definitely put this rack to the test and it has held up each and every time. I was pleasantly surprised with the pulleys and attachments. I would absolutely buy this again if I needed to.
