Lautie CHOC Mechanical Slider

What can I say? It's a Lautie. This is my first venture into Lautie's premium fidgets (coming from cheap alternatives) and they live up to the hype! This fidget is so smooth and clicky. The sound kind of reminds me of the noise you get when running a finger across the teeth of a plastic comb. It definitely tickles your brain and takes you to your happy place. The order arrived quickly and was packaged very well. 10/10.

I chose the zirconium + stainless steel version of the Choc because I wanted a more tactile, “mechanical” feel rather than a quiet or soft fidget. The brass track gives very crisp feedback and the zirconium body feels dense and premium in hand. There is a short break-in period (slight squeak and stiffness at first, which im sure is normal), but it quickly smooths out with use and becomes more consistent and satisfying. The clicks feel very controlled and the end stops are especially nice. Overall, it’s a very high-quality tactile fidget if you want something with strong feedback and a solid metal feel. Not subtle, but very satisfying to use.

First I couldn’t believe this certain slider was in stock being that the Lautie Choc is probably the most popular fidget right now. I purchased it and got it within a week. That never happens bc everywhere is shipping from China it seems like. Anyway the team over at MetaEDC is just amazing. Trust them and give them your business you’ll be taken care of appropriately.
