Definitely improves putter contact at the center of the golf ball. Putt roll increases as the contact is in the center. My advice would be to spend time on the practice putting surface for speed and alignment.

Crazy how well it works for my putting. At first I didn’t trust the line after setting it from behind and then looking over the top, it looked like I was aiming too low. But after missing the first few putts, I committed to believing the line I set from behind, keeping my head down and concentrating on square contact, trusting the line set from behind, I started hitting putts. Even my misses were right on line, just short.

This is excellent - using these markings has given me a noticeable edge and I definitely start the ball on line far more frequently than I used to.
