americana watercolor workbook

So simple!

I love painting with water color, but with the simple instructions and the color blends in the begining it makes it so much easier to improve! I have only been watercolor painting only a few years and these books are the best I have ever tried! I just had to have one to celebrate America’s 250th anniversary!

A wonderful purchase

I purchased the Americana workbook recently and I absolutely love it! The pictures are delightful. I had a difficult time deciding which page to paint first!

A delightful watercolor book with timeless Americana Spirit

Over the course of a few leisurely days, 10 family members ages 5 to 60 each selected a piece from the book to paint. One of the things we appreciated most was how approachable the book made this process. Each piece includes simple guidelines and suggested colors which kept everyone’s pallete aligned and gave the entire collection a cohesive Americana inspired look. When all paintings were finished, everyone signed and dated their work— a small detail that made every piece feel personal and worth preserving. We framed them and created a gallery wall in the entry of the Lakehouse. Now every guest is greeted by this homemade display: a mix of ages, personalities, and artistic styles tied together by the books nostalgic themes and our families creative spirit.
