Excellent, well-researched and interesting!

I love the subject of 102 (there's actually a few more) things to do with a hole in the ground! There is so much to learn and it covers so many parts of the globe. This would be a great book for someone with an interest in the world and who loves technical matter but it's written in an accessible style. Well done to the authors for creating this book and bringing a unique and fascinating area to the general public.

Interesting, but not spectacular.

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the book for this price Contains some interesting ideas, and it's good to see something constructive is being done with old mines. Feel rather conflicted about some of the bodies involved in the creating book (e.g. mining companies), and just hope they're not getting any of the proceeds. Some great photos!
