As far as labeling our blankets, linens, and personal clothes for our patients, this product works and is very user-friendly. All these items have gone through the wash in hot water in excess of 140°F–160°F over 100 times (to kill pathogens), and the linens wore out before the ink did. The ink faded, of course; however, for identification purposes, this product held up. Our materials are mostly smooth, but it still worked reasonably well on terry towels. It takes a little practice to mark straight, but I didn't use this for graphics and visual effects. I used it to identify our linens and, especially, clothes that belonged to patients. Fancy clothes or very thin materials we still mark by hand. But when you have 20 pairs of white socks to label and a few hundred items to launder, fold, and deliver, Print Peak is very handy.
