I have been using this colour for 5+ years. For me it's the perfect blend between magenta and red, and now that i'm in my 40s and the super bright colour doesn't quite resonate with me anymore, I only lighten my hair half way (using a Leave in UV hair lightening spray) for a darker pink. It will stain your shower for the first few washes, but cleaning with a little bleach should remove without any fuss
