I've been looking for this for a long long time; a hard shell that opens up like a soft shell which fits the luggage rack the hotels provide.
The 4MyTu is perfect in every way; the size for check-in, the volume and the quality built! Most impressive are the wheels, so balanced (don't need wheel alignment) and quiet. The USB ports are a nice touch.
The only "complaint" is the color I wanted was out of stock. I went with my second choice.
The color in the photos are off (except 1) due to the soft lighting.
Highly recommend this brand. My wife is going to buy herself one also.
