My new luggage traveled with me from the United States to Amsterdam, to Germany, to Switzerland, to France, to Italy, and back to the USA. It was nice have it trunk style because you don't need alot of space like you do with one that opens like wings. I had the middle size trunk and it held 46lbs of clothing with room to spare. The expandable zipper was perfect and much needed when I was returning home. I was able to get a purse and other souvenirs into it. The wheels are wonderful. It rolls so easily, even over the bumpiest of cobblestones. My only complaint would be that it will roll away on its own. It might be nice to include little brakes on two of the wheels. The handle has several levels and is nice and tall even for people like my 6'6" husband. The handle is odd shaped because it has a cup holder and a hook for bags. I would much rather have a straight handle because my duffel bag has a band that can be placed over a luggage handle and it would not fit over this handle. I never used the cup holder either. However, at the airport, my husband used the phone holder for a conference call. Lastly, the luggage held up to being tossed around on by baggage handlers. It also held up to tumbling down about 6 or 7 steps. I love the colors available. It did get dirty and there are a few scuffs. I used a magic eraser at home to clean it up. Most came off. I do think a more durable finish that doesn't scuff as easily would be nicer. I got my husband a Henke trunk. It was wider and shorter and did not expand. The outside surface seemed more durable and did not show scuffs or dirt.
