It was perfect 30 years ago and it's perfect now

I was delighted to see Poppy King released a series of lipsticks! I have fond memories of buying her lipsticks years ago. Perfect red, and beautifully packaged.

Great blue based red colour. It is a matte lipstick, however it does not glide on the lips. It is very dry & drags during the application. I find it goes cakey & is too dry even for a matte style. It is disappointing especially as there are matte formulations from other brands which have a softer application. It would be fabulous if the formula was tweaked or a creamier range, still in Poppy's intense pigments, is created. Sadly, despite the great colour, I will not buy again.
