Love these stings! Exceeded my expectations! I've used or tried MOST of DR's line, but the new Dragon skins in BOTH nickel and steel are FANTASTIC!

New Strings, Always Apprehensive

I've used DR's for quite a few years, so I figured I'd try their latest strings...and I was not disappointed. As probably many do, I don't plug in until I have them on and tuned, and once I cranked up my Mark bass amp, the tone was bright, yet very full. A sweet 2 hr solo jam followed. It's nice to have a new find!

DR Dragon Skin+ Quantum Nickel Bass Strings

I was looking for strings that were a little less harsh when you first put them on specifically for my P and PJ basses. These strings perfectly hit the mark. They are still bright without having the initial harshness of steel strings. Dragon Shins have an all around great feel, very flexible. I don't really notice that they are a coated string at all. Got to say, I really love them.
