I have been making fruitcakes for about 50 years using the grocery store candied fruit as that was what was available. My daughter-in-law told me about Market Hall Foods and I was a bit skeptical. Candied fruit is getting harder to find so I decided to try MHF. One bite and I was a convert. Unbelievable fruit flavor, tangy, it tasted like oranges! I had some leftover orange peel so I compared it to the MHF peel. And threw it out; why waste time and ingredients on something subpar?

I love the product but the packaging was awful. I first bough the candied lemon peel cubes 6.6 lb package, and that was packaged wonderfully. I bought a second large order of the orange cubes and orange strips, thinking the packaging was going to be the same. About half of them were leaking, so I had to refrigerate them....and now a whole drawer in our fridge is occupied. Super annoyed about that. But the product is good. Please get the cubes back in stock. And figure out better packaging for the smaller amounts.
