My ATV plastics had seen better days, and after after pricing replacement plastics (& decals) I decided I'd look into alternatives. After a little research, I figured I'd try my hand at wrapping the machine. I watched quite a few videos (thank you to Chris at CK wraps), ordered the greyscale camo from VVIVID, and set out wrapping the ATV plastics. This is my first time working with vinyl wrap - the time spent watching instructional videos has proven itself rather valuable, but still there's been a learning curve. I ordered more than I needed (intentionally), I've made a few mistakes, but I'm extremely pleased with how the machine is turning out. The vinyl is thicker than I had expected it to be, is nice to work with, and looks absolutely incredible. While I have had to learn the ins & outs of working with the material, its been forgiving enough to allow me multiple attempts at working the vinyl into the various cutouts and over the accents. As this has been a rainy day project, I'm not yet finished with the wrap. I will be posting a picture of the finished machine once its done. For anyone considering a wrap project, but are unsure of whether or not you want to tackle it - give it a try. Take your time, expect to make some mistakes, but I promise you'll enjoy the process of transforming the look of your project.
