I had high hopes for VViViD's gloss black vinyl, but unfortunately, it didn’t live up to expectations. The material is extremely thick, which made it hard to conform to curves or tight spots—even with heat. It felt more like working with stiff plastic than a wrap vinyl.
Installation was frustrating. Despite taking my time and following proper prep, the vinyl didn’t lay smoothly and was tough to reposition. Air-release channels didn’t seem to help much either, and getting a clean, bubble-free finish was nearly impossible.
I’ve used other brands that were much more user-friendly and flexible. Sadly, I won’t be buying this one again. Not recommended if you’re looking for an easy install or professional results.
