17oz Frequency Mug

Frequency design is a hit.

I feel very fortunate to get one of the new "Frequency" mugs. The hardest part was deciding which colors to go with, I am very happy with this choice. I love following the entire process from initial idea to 3D models, and finally a very cool mold creation. Anyone who thinks a slip-cast item is cheating, they need to watch the design and mold creation. The amount of time spent on consistent glaze layers really blows me away. I wish I had stayed awake in High School chemistry class to fully understand the magic of glazes and different kiln environments. I was a little nervous about how the Frequency ribs would seal against my lips, but this mug works great with no leaks. I guess the glaze thickness helps. Nice job. I love my new mug.
