Zulu Three

ALMOST perfect

This is our daughter’s second Prevelo bike and I’ve been super impressed with the build quality. It’s a really nice bike, definitely worth the money. The few things I’ve noticed that could use improvement are the brake leavers aren’t adjustable. Her old Zulu two had them with the old style brakes and I was sad to not see them adjustable with the new style. Also I noticed the shifter is a bit far for her to reach and I’d like to swap the shifter to the inside of the brake leaver but because the grips are the non slip style instead of the clamp style I’m afraid I won’t get the grips back on. In my opinion hand fitment is crucial for a child learning to brake with both hands and shift gears on the trail. That’s the one area this bike falls short in. She’ll grow into it but I need to keep a close eye on her to make sure she can get stopped and stay in control out there!

Great kids bike if you have a little shredder.

Smooth and Solid

Just got done with our first ride on his Zulu Three. My 6 year old was able to make it up all the hills that he was not previously able to do on his Alpha two. The shifters are set up perfectly and are far superior to the twist handle ones on so many other bikes. When we got done he described the bike as smooth and solid, I couldn’t agree more.
