The mounting clips are a little cheap Had to modify a couple because they would not tighten up

Great Cap for the money.

Have always had SmartCaps on my rigs. Decided to try the new Westin on my Gladiator. Love it, looks good, easy to assemble and install. If you are looking for a reasonably priced cap, this is it.

Great top at a great price

I like everything about this top with the exception of a few little things that could be addressed to make it better. Clamps are cheap and do not set well, and the base is not nearly big enough to bolt it down so that’s disappointing. The electric locking mechanism on the rear gate unlocks flawlessly but relocking not so much and requires checking it every time I lock the truck so that may get disconnected soon if I can’t work out the issue. Otherwise it’s a fabulously built unit of high quality in my opinion.
