Fire Thorn Flexplates - with ThornGrip Surface

So far so good. Holds PLA crazy good. I got it for Nylon. I’ve tried a few plates and held reasonably well. Most failures were probably me. The temp ranges for the Nylon were too low. Once I adjusted, began to see good results.

Updating my previous review on 6/9/2026 This plate is fantastic even with a couple minor quibbles. You'll get used to it. Not having to clean it constantly is a huge plus. I use a brass brush to light wisk stuff off. Don't even have to worry about finger prints that much! The rough texture makes it very easy to get very thin layers peeled off. No scraping required. Just get under it with your fingernail and it comes right off. All prints so far have stuck and released very well. Have not had to use a release agent or glue once. I still print at normal bed temps so I don't have to mess around with possible stick issues. Please give it a try. I feel you won't be disappointed! Give it a little time to get used to it.

Great service, great surface. "Glue" and "brim" might just be words of the past, unless I desire a different finish to the object and need to use a different plate.
