Stainless Clicker Hoop Earrings Hurt my Ears

Maybe I'm must not used to the weight, but it seems like where the skinny part going through my ear lobe meets the stainless steel hoop, my skin might be getting pinched or something. Anyway, they were very uncomfortable and hurt to wear. I ordered two pairs. I already opened one, but I hope to return the others that are unopened.
