E-Z Pool 20lb All in One Concentrated Pool Care Solution

Upon introducing this product for the first time and using the recommended amount my pool developed algae quick. Then to catch back up with this excessive algae I had to add more. Only having the product for about a month I have almost finished the entire contents trying to get on top of the algae production. My pool is still not where I want it to be but after a month of use it’s getting closer. Regular vacuuming and sweeping has occurred. In fact, more than what I normally have to do to keep up.

We fought algae in our pool for the last ten years. All we did was brush, vacuum and shock. I contemplated filling the pool with dirt for a garden. This year we haven’t had to drain and refill and my next vacuum will be the first this year. I love this product. We are enjoying our pool for the first year in many years.

First time I used it was fine, second week it was starting to get hard. This week, third week it was hard as a rock. I had to scrap and crush it. Why has it gotten so hard?
