Men's 8" AERO-TAC™ H₂O Side-Zip Boot

Tried these on in the house to check the feel. I was a little hesitant at first, but figured I’d give them a go. I bought these and another brand to see which ones I would keep. Wore them to work. I work hospital security and work 12 hr shifts. They felt pretty good for day 1. I may end up replacing the insoles for a little better cushion. As with all boots it will take some breaking in. I put in approx 16,000 steps in them. When I got home my feet were sweaty more than I expected, but that is because the boots are waterproof. I think these may become my winter boots where I need the warmth and water resistance in the snow. So far so good. Looks like I will be keeping them.

Not comfortable

Initially, I was excited when I got the boots. They were very light, they looked great, and waterproof. But after about two weeks of wearing them, they are almost as stiff as they were on day one. The toe box is extremely narrow and I have very narrow feet. There’s very little cushion on the insoles so it’s like walking on hard ground. If I could, I would definitely be returning theseto get my money back. A lot of hype and not much on the delivery part. Disappointed!

Cheap materials

Boots didnt even last a full year. Used them for about 6 months and both left and right boot ripped from the soft mesh on the inside just from normal wear. Would not recommend if you're on patrol, they won't last. They are comfortable but too expensive to only last six months. Boots are a lot much worse than how they seem on the pictures. Was hoping 1st tactical would stand by their product but they dont, no refund ,no replacement.
