Fantastic Belt

I just got this belt about a week ago and had been previously wearing a 1.75” MOLLE belt from T-REX Arms. The KORE belt is a little fiddly to get set up right, but once you have the sizing dialed in it’s a fantastic belt. It’s FAR more sturdy and rigid compared to the T-REX belt, and is constructed much better. The T-REX belt was basically a fabric sleeve glued to the plastic core, whereas the KORE belt is individual layers that are fully stitched together. The fabric on the T-REX belt actually rotated around the inner liner over time, whereas it is clear the KORE belt structurally cannot fail that way. The adjustability is fantastic with the KORE belt and is especially handy for fatter guys like myself. It’s super easy to loosen the belt a bit when sitting for extended periods, and chinch it back up when you stand up again. I also appreciate the design of the MOLLE straps. They’re easy to use (you have to belt the belt back to open the slots up) and are super tight when you’re wearing the belt. My only complaint is I wish the ratchet portion was a bit longer to give a little more size variation. It’s probably a limitation of the gap for the under belt, so if that’s the case then I get why it’s a limited amount of ratchet space. I also wish they included a tip keeper with this belt, but I can’t complain too much given a 2pk of battle belt tip keepers is a whole $2.95. Overall this KORE belt is a great value. $142.90 (including a pack of tip keepers) compared to T-REX’s $210 saves money and gets you a vastly superior product.

Would recommend buying to anyone that’s serious about training

make sure to cut the inner belt from the correct side!! the older models had a gray fluted strap that looked destinct from the rest of the inner belt but this one was all black!
