FOALS FJG7 Offset Electric Guitar – Classic Jaguar-Style Design, Dual-Pickup Configuration

Plays and feels great. Took like 33 days to arrive. I LOVE the pink soft case. The wiggle stick sticks out pretty far but I don’t use it so don’t care

This really is a lovely guitar. The fingerboard is especially nice, with a lovely dark slab of rosewood, and lovely fretwork. The guitar plays perfectly out of the box. It feels so nice to hold and look at, as well to to play and feels like a much more expensive guitar than it was! In my opinion, it is better in almost every apsect compared to my Squier Classic Vibe Jaguar (which required a bit of work to get it playing nicely). I also played the Vintera model when I was thinking of upgrading, and I think this is nicer.

I'd rate my FJG7 a 9.5 out of 10

Overall I'd rate my FJG7 as a very good Jaguar style guitar clone. Pros: + Overall fit and finish is very good although not perfect. + I really like the sound of the Foals Jaguar style pickups. + I love the feel of the neck. + The controls and switches all look and feel solid. Cons: - There is one spot/area about 5/8" x 1/2" in size on the back of the neck between the nut and first fret that missed getting finished (is unfinished). This does not affect playability, but is why I do not consider that the finish is perfect. - The Tremolo (actually vibrato) Tailpiece does not feel as high quality as the rest of the components. Comment: The color code on this model is BP, which is described as Black Pearl on the Foals Guitar website. However, mine just looks Gloss Black. There is not any Pearl or Pearlescent quality to the finish on mine, but the Gloss Black does look very nice.
