All the spices I got from Heray were so fresh and fragrant including the dates!!! The Saffron is AMAZING and made the best saffron and cream squash casserole.

In all honesty, I never tried a date of any kind. To my surprise, Heray Spice sent me the 1 lb. Premium Medjool Dates as a complimentary jester to my Saffron order. After reading the information enclosed about the dates and their sweet carmel taste, I tried one out of curiosity. It was a delight! Definitely woke up my taste buds. Due to the sugar content, I reserve my intake to one per day. It is my intent to include these dates in my next Heray Spice order. Thank you, Heray Spice, for introducing me to this delicious treat. In short, the Medjool dates I’m currently enjoying (my second purchase from Heray Spice) are completely satisfying and fulfilling. The nutritional benefits stand alone on their own merit and the taste and texture makes it difficult to just “stop at one.” I can’t wait to try the figs I am about to order. My patronage of Heray Spices gives me an entirely new and profound appreciation of the Afghani farming community and the literal fruits of their labor. I am more than happy and proud to support this cause.
