I was slightly concerned about the fact that it's velcro fastened, since that doesn't immediately scream "grip strength" to me, but the type of velcro used is not only non-scratchy to the touch, but actually really firm in its hold. I struggled slightly to get it open the first time lol. The cupholder iself is very silky-soft and cute, and the straps are a comfortable fabric that won't leave scratches/friction burns on my neck or shoulder from crossbody use. Can't wait to be able to make slurpee runs without worrying about freezing my fingers off!
