XCELER8 Xcaliber Ergo Paddle

Well, I did what I said I would do and bought another one of these paddles, to make sure I have a backup just in case. And since I bought it at the website and am thus now a 'verified purchaser', I thought I should post another review (I originally got my first XCALIBER secondhand). I'm only using edge guard tape on the paddle now (no extra weights), and I find it has enough power and spin for me that way. Also, I like the bit of extra reach it gives me, plus I now have faster hands at the net. I'm a little sad that this seems to be the best kind of paddle for me, since I have a couple other top-tier nonergonomic paddles that I formerly liked a lot; but, c'est la vie. I will say that it takes some time to get used to this paddle; but once I did, I liked it a lot and still do. I'll be playing with it in another local tournament this coming weekend (won silver with it at the last one!).

The paddle is different, easily orientates the paddle face to wrist for controlled overhead shots in tight and out of player return reach
