HT3831 | Wireless TV Headphones for Seniors

Great concept, needs improvement in sound quality and volume control

I think these headphones will suit some people, but not all, so I'll leave it as a recommend yes, but with caution.. We tried the HT3831 wireless earbuds for an evening and found that: • The audio range (sound) is very poor – no bass and poor treble. • The hanging bit easily gets caught by my hands waving, and pulls the headphones from one or both ears. • My wife finds them uncomfortable in her ears, and doesn’t like the hanging bit at all. • The volume control at the first movement from no sound provides very loud sound, which gets louder if we turn the volume up further. Happens whether using optical or analogue as input. I’m guessing this is because of high output from the TV (a 2024 TCL C855 smart TV), but I couldn’t find any way to adjust the output, which remains loud even if the TV volume is at 0. On the plus side, I like the battery charging and the spare battery, and the simplicity of setting up and using.
