I really like fragrances with hints of Rose so I was intrigued by this one. The rose wasn't as up front as I prefer, but it was definitely present. I would wear this in the evening on a night out. I thought it carried very well for several hours after applying to the inside of my elbows and my decollatage.

Velvet is surprising!
I wasn’t sure what to expect, I am not a fan of rose and can detect it right away.
The blending in this is so expertly executed that the rise note doesn’t bother me at all.
I would describe it as smooth, deep, interesting, and a smidge seductive. Definitely unisex. I can wear and love this and same for my husband.
