I wasn’t sure what to expect, I am not a fan of rose and can detect it right away.
The blending in this is so expertly executed that the rise note doesn’t bother me at all.
I would describe it as smooth, deep, interesting, and a smidge seductive. Definitely unisex. I can wear and love this and same for my husband.

Okay, so this is kind of a long story BUTTT my first perfume was velvet woods and magnolia from old navy (the brand was kindred spirits or something like that) and I’ve been looking for something a bit more evolved but still reminiscent of the sweet woody aspect of it for ages since it was discontinued. In comes this GORGEOUS FREAKING PERFUME…. I love it so much and am saving up for a travel size now. It’s sweet and grounded and not overly cloying, definitely very woody and firewood-y almost? Not green like a forest, which I appreciate.

This is one of my fave got-to scents and it last for so long without being overpowering- like all the scents, subtle but noticed!
