Shipping was super fast. First set up took a bit because you have to cut the shock cord yourself. Works great with my Zpacks 8x10 tarp. I will be taking it on a thru hike of the Ozark Highland Trail next month.

This DCF Y-Zip Bivy is even lighter and more compact than I expected – it packs down incredibly small and sets up effortlessly under my Yama Cirriform tarp. I’ve only used it once so far, but I’m already impressed.
On my first night out, it rained heavily, and I was able to partially unzip the Y-zip (lowering one side) while using the front-side entry space to cook comfortably inside without getting wet. Super convenient for bad weather!
I haven’t yet tested it without a footprint, so durability on rough ground is TBD, but I’m excited to put more miles on it and see how it holds up.
Highly recommended for ultralight backpackers looking for a versatile, minimalist bug and weather protection setup!

I haven’t had a chance to take it on a trip yet but I was pleasantly surprised with the amount of room inside, the Y zip is a great feature and the construction quality appears to be top notch!I
It’s going to be a great addition to my fastpacking kit! I just need to be careful with the .67 DCF floor , I will use a polycro ground sheet and good site selection, I am generally pretty easy on gear so I don’t think it will be a problem for me, plus DCF is super easy to repair.
