City Grips Sew-on Leather Grips

Third time around

I put these grips on my wife’s and my townie bikes and when I sold mine and built up a new flat bar bikethere was no question which grips I was going to use. These look and feel great, warm on the bare hand in the summer and grippy when it rains. I sewed these with a baseball stitch for a little visual interest. It would be nice if there were more color options for the thread.

Exactly what I wanted

I love these grips. Sewing them on was really fun and simple. Having something handsewn has made me feel a lot more connected to my bike, which I wasn't necessarily expecting! When I ordered them, I was a bit worried that it wouldn't provide enough cushion or would be too thin. But that wasn't the case at all. They feel great and have good grip. After a few months with them, I like them so much that I bought another pair to go on a second bike. Highly recommend!
