Good, limited outside usable distance

I like the unit, so far. I used it for the first time outside in bright sunlight. I could not see the green line after a small fraction of the "advertised" distance (maybe 20 '). I did order the laser detector. Our land is not flat and the window height is a little smaller than my previous detector making it hard to find the laser beam. It just took a little extra time to "walk" the detector to my final distance to make sure the laser hit the detector properly.

The level it self works great. No issues the case and all the things that come with it are poor quality and useless. A smaller case for just the level would be all I would want. Also instructions are really poor. There is nothing about what all the things in the kit are for.
