Bad battery

It’s a nice laser with a bad battery. After receiving the well packaged tool, I charged the battery to full capacity. However, when using the laser, using only the horizontal plane to locate the high - low spots on the floor I am tiling, the battery lasted only 20 minutes. After again recharging to full capacity the battery died again after 20 minutes +/-. It now sits in a box on a shelf in the garage. I’m very disappointed.

Cannot get laser to attach tightly to tripod. Mount is tight to laser, but flops around when locked onto tripod.

I like the laser, but took forever to get,
