Great formula, looks darker on me

I love this polish and get a lot of use from it, but it does look darker on me than it does in the swatch photos. I find that it often leans almost black, and only shows maroon in much brighter lighting. It might be user error with me applying too-thick coats, so I will play around with thinner application and perhaps a brighter base coat.

No, but really! So obsessed with this polish! It feels so juicy, but dark & moody, with a touch of red micro sparkle that is swimming in a pond of maroon-dark orchid purple-reds! Pictures do NOT capture just how magical this color really is.

Gorgeous vampy shade

This is one of my more subtle multichromes, but I love that it reads as a deep vampy maroon, then shifts to black at some angles. Then in the sun I get a fiery red flash. Always interesting, in every lighting
