We're constantly launching new products here at HillCo, but some of them are a really BIG DEAL. This new product is one of those! It's the kind of thing we love around here; simple and affordable, but packs a big punch.
Here's a fact: ANY extractor, no matter how well balanced it is, can and will wobble with a load of honey frames. No tw

cut my honey harvest time in half
Ever since I got a HillCo uncapping tank, my 8 frame extractor has been the bottleneck in the operation. Bolted to a big concrete weight, my extractor would always have balance issues and I would have to swap frames constantly to get it balanced enough to run.
This year, with spring feet instead of the concrete base, I only had to swap frames a couple times. No problem running a wood frame opposite from a plastic frame, or a full frame opposite from a mostly empty frame, within reason. Now the extractor can more or less keep up with uncapping.
I hesitated to buy it because it seems expensive for what it is, but it was 100% worth it in time savings.

Spring Feet Kit
Put a mixture of full frames and partial frames in an eight frame spinner, turned the speed to high, and turned on the machine… Couple of tiny wobbles at first, and then it smoothed out and ran like a charm! Wish I would’ve purchased this kit years ago!!
I balanced out the second load of eight frames and turned it on with the setting knob turned to high, not the slightest wobble at the beginning and it ran with negligible vibration.
If you suffer from extractor fatigue by having to put your full body weight against the extractor to keep it in place, then this is just the thing you need to fix that problem.

Boots or shoes for a honey extractor
I used to anchor my honey centrifuge to a very heavy platform. The boots are perfect for stabilizing the unit especially if you have a lot of honey to extract. Worth the price and more.
