HUET - Cognac

SOOO dang comfortable!

I have terrible feet and the Huet sandals are probably the most comfortable sandals I own. These are the ones I reach for when I'm dressed casually and don't want to worry about how my feet feel.

Extremely thin soles--no shock absorption

I actually liked the way these look in person more than in the photo--the leather is very good quality, soft and supple, and the hardware is nice. However, although there is nice padding in the footbed and light arch support, the rubber sole is soooo thin, there is absolutely zero shock absorption when walking on concrete. These are not city sandals--they are drive-somewhere-and-do minimal-walking sandals. Which is a shame because the uppers really are very comfortable. Because of that I am going to see if I can get some thicker soles put on; otherwise I will only be able to wear them very occasionally. I usually wear a 7. 5US/38 EUR, but I got the 7 and the length is perfect--I wouldn't want them any longer.
